Humans release carbon dioxide when we breathe.
1 kg/day*6,692,030,277(2008 population estimate)*365.24 = 2,694,265,908 US tons of CO2/year!
Shame on us all, right? The solution is clear: Everyone stop breathing so we can save the planet. Kill all the humans to preserve a better tomorrow for our children. Some brave soul must step forward and show us the way to a brighter, cleaner future; I'll just stop breathing right after Al Gore shows me how. He's a very intelligent person; he invented the internet that is allowing us to communicate this very instant. Think of the children.
Also, Drunkard, Sweet Tooth, and Party Animal can contribute to repetitive strain injury and/or carpal tunnel syndrome, so we should just be able to click once for all those 10,000 items that need to be consumed. Auto-clickers and bots are just a medical necessity.

I think this is yet another example of Anet forgetting they aren't a subscription game and forgetting that their game could actually be fun if they put some thought into it. They don't have to do this kind of grindey crap to keep getting fees.
Titles have actually made me less interested in the game, and less likely that I'll bother with GW2. Before titles, I usually liked to mix things up by playing lots of classes. As they were introduced, I found more guilds focusing on title hunting, so I started to do this too. As a result, I started focusing less and less on my "extra" characters, and wound up doing the same things over and over with only one or two characters, and still nowhere close to a full hall of monuments.
And yes, I know I could still try to mix it up, but there is always this nagging feeling that what I'm doing won't be rewarded for GW2 and I should be focusing on my main. It just got to the point where I said, "Wow, Braid and AudioSurf are $2.50 on Steam? Screw Guild Wars." Grind isn't going to keep me playing when I can get a completely new experience, especially when I can find the entire cost as loose change in the crevices of my couch.

Well, I've noticed a lot of discussion about the Drunkard title, one question no one has raised yet is the appropriateness of this aspect of the game in relation to kids and teenagers who are under the age of 21. I believe this game is rated Teen (ages 13+ I think), so that includes people under 21. The legal drinking age is 21 in the US, and probably a little lower in Europe (I believe it's 16?).
I don't have problems with having Dwarven Ale in the game, it's all for good fun, but when you actually have a title that rewards being drunk, now I think that starts to cross the line a little bit. Isn't that pretty much the same thing as telling kids and teenagers that drinking is cool and it's fun to become an alcoholic? Maybe that's okay in Tyria and Cantha, but I sure don't think it's appropriate in the real world.
Sure you're going to say it's just a game, but if you're a parent, would you want your kids playing a game that promotes drinking, being drunk, and alcoholism?
All I ask you to do is think about it. Any comments/thoughts are welcome.

If that's the case they should get rid of all weapons becuase it promotes shooting and hitting each other with swords.
And also Party points because lighting off fireworks is dangerous, and eating pounds and pounds of sweets could give you diabetes.

but there is skills that require you to be drunk to get the best effect...and i imagined they were expecting a player to play 10k minutes easily, all u have to do is click while u play...hell ive played 5k HOURS so 10k minutes is a fraction of the game play.

It would be different if you could click all of your drunkard points and then the time would countdown all the time. I don't want to play the game having to micro clicking alcohols every single minute or 5.
It's not that hard to see why some people would choose to use macros for a title which shouldn't take 10,000 minutes.
I still need to find a way to make the zoning instant minutes work again.

It's already easier for those of us who are working on it now than it was a year ago. We have Nicholas in both pre and post searing giving us booze. We don't need to spend near as much time farming gold to buy booze.

i maxed my drunkin title. i had only wished the 3 points and kegs were cheap. and that one pointers worked like the party/sugar ones. but other then that it wasnt to bad. did take me a long time since i kepted forgetting to get drunks in runs. my hint is to get drunk while you eat lunch or surf the net or watch tv. something you can look away from to click on booze.

what angel said....while you are reading this thread...have you gw going in the background...click on a drink (or 3 if you need )....go back to browsing---watch the tiny clock down in the bottom right of your screen....when 3 min has gone by...max the gw window. click again....I have been doing this for a while now (when I get the alcohol---will NOT stoop to buying it, only drink what I get)....am almost half way now and have a few kegs from nics last run to last me a bit (and the gift giver has been given me more )....
so be a multi-tasker....(I also do this while I am working on dinner----click on drink, go chop, ...check kitchen timer...click again....)

I totally lawled when I saw this thread. Seriously, the drunkard title was the EASIEST title I ever got. Like everyone has said (Or almost everyone) it is a piece of cake to drink while you are doing missions, vanquishing or what not. If you don't like or can't stand the blurry screen, then hit F11, turn off the post-processing effects and VOILA! No more blurry screen. Also, make sure the title screen is open, so you know when it's time to drink again.
Seriously, the QQ threads about "drunkard title is too hard" are totally epic fail. SACK UP AND DO IT!

This
When I got level 1 (very early) I spent 1000 minutes just drinking, it was boring as hell and I vowed I would never get 10,000. But that was the wrong way to do it. I just drank as I played over time, and it was uurprising how easy it was, before I even knew it I was over 8,000 and now looking back the max title was a doddle. It's also the easiest to buy.
